Emily turned out to be somewhat of a schizophrenic, but I had faith in her ability to send us a rideable wave. Here are a few photos of the small but punchy swell she produced for us.

I put together this little video for the Outer Beaches Realty marketing department a few months ago. This is just an exerpt from the full length video. Yes, I did get the idea from the Sportscenter commercial.
I almost forgot about these. I took them 2 weeks ago while fishing in the Ocracoke Annual Invitational Surf Fishing Tournament.

A repeat scenario occured late last week. Strong tornado supercell thunderstorms churned up the Atlantic Ocean Thursday night, pulling the winds out of the Northwest for Friday morning. I managed to snag a photo of the rare event that is hollow waves in Frisco. With chest to head high clean lines, I'd say checking the south beaches was a good call!

Saturday night's thunderstorms were pretty intense, but they kicked up some swell for Sunday. With offshore winds all day, it was definitely one for the books. I managed to snag a couple of photos between surfs.
I watched Hatteras local Dallas Tolson find some barrels while I ate half of Stacie's wrap. Thanks Stacie and Dallas!

With waves in the forecast, and boredom setting in - I decided to shoot a tutorial on how to wax a fresh surfboard perfectly in 5 minutes. My old friend Eric Dranginis taught me this little trick years ago when we lived together in college.
In the process of designing a t-shirt, I couldn't help but look at my "ruler" and wonder how it got its name.
